Arrival
We recommend travelling around Vienna by bike or on public transport!
Metro: Take the U1 line to Reumannplatz. From there, it’s about a 12- to 15-minute walk along Puchsbaumgasse to the Brotfabrik. If you’d like to shorten the walk, you can change to tram line 6 at Reumannplatz.
Tram: Take bus routes 6 or 11 to Schrankenberggasse. From there, it’s about a 4- to 5-minute walk along Absberggasse. Alternatively, take bus route D to Absberggasse and then walk for about 9 to 10 minutes.
Bus: Take the 14A bus to Reumannplatz, then change to tram line 6 there, or continue on foot along Puchsbaumgasse.
Bicycle: The Brotfabrik is easily accessible by bike. Bicycle racks are available on site.
Car: Parking spaces around the venue are limited, and short-stay parking zones apply throughout Vienna. We therefore strongly recommend travelling by public transport or by bike. If you are coming by car, it is best to use a multi-storey car park in the vicinity, such as the Reumannplatz or Gudrunstraße car parks.
Train: The best way to get there by long-distance or regional train is to travel to Vienna Central Station, Vienna Meidling or Vienna West Station. You can find connecting services to the Brotfabrik via Wiener Linien, WienMobil or the ÖBB.
Luggage
Wardrobe: There will be free storage facilities for coats and luggage on site. Please allow for a bit of a wait, particularly at peak times. You’ll find the cloakroom in the foyer in front of the Ankersaal. It is open on Friday and Saturday from 09:00 to 20:00.
Lost & Found: Have you lost or found something at re:publica Vienna? Please contact the Info Point in the foyer area on the ground floor. At the end of the day, all lost property will be kept safe. You can collect it until the end of the event. After that, all items will be handed over to the City of Vienna’s Central Lost Property Service at Siebenbrunnenfeldgasse 3, 1050 Vienna.
Entry
Not everything is allowed on the festival site. Here’s an overview of what you can and can’t bring with you:
You are welcome to bring your own reusable bottles and containers.
You are welcome to bring small rucksacks, handbags and laptop bags up to A3 size into the venue.
Large rucksacks, sports bags, travel bags and suitcases must be handed in at the cloakroom beforehand.
Dangerous items such as weapons, ammunition and pyrotechnic products are prohibited on the premises. They cannot be taken into storage either.
Unfortunately, animals are not permitted on the premises, with the exception of assistance dogs, for example: please contact us as soon as possible at ticket@re-publica.com.
Bicycles, e-scooters, scooters, e-boards, skateboards and roller skates must also be left outside.
Food & drinks
There will be a wide range of food and drink on offer at the festival site, as well as a food truck and a coffee bike.

Accessibility and Inclusion
Arrival: We recommend travelling by public transport or by bike. The Brotfabrik cultural centre can be reached via the U1 underground line, getting off at Reumannplatz station. From there, follow Puchsbaumgasse to Absberggasse. Tram lines 6 and 11 take you to Schrankenberggasse station, from where it’s just a few minutes’ walk. Tram line D stops at Absberggasse station.
The Brotfabrik is easily accessible by bike. Bicycle racks are available on site.
There are no free parking spaces on the site itself. Parking is available in nearby multi-storey car parks, such as the Reumannplatz or Gudrunstraße car parks. Please note the relevant opening hours and Vienna’s short-stay parking zones.
Information on accessible travel by public transport can be found on the Wiener Linien website. There you can also check which lifts and accessible entrances are currently available.
Venue: The event areas at the Kulturhaus Brotfabrik are accessible to people with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible toilet facilities and accessible routes are indicated on the event site plan.
At Stage 1, we have designated priority seating for wheelchair users as well as seats with easy access.
re:publica can be a bit overwhelming. That’s why we’re setting up a Silent & Relax Area. This space is quiet and low-stimulus, and is there for anyone who needs a quick break from the hustle and bustle.
All visitors who require assistance from a accompanying person will receive an additional ticket free of charge. Simply select ‘Reduced Ticket mit Begleitperson’ (Reduced Ticket with accompanying person) in the ticket shop.
If you have any questions or suggestions, or wish to report any accessibility issues, please feel free to contact us at nachhaltigkeit@re-publica.com.
Awareness
Do you feel uncomfortable, threatened, discriminated against, or have you noticed someone behaving inappropriately? Our Awareness Team is on hand to support you on all days of the event.
At the festival site, you’ll recognise the team by their white vests labelled “Awareness”. You can speak to them directly or contact them by email (awareness@re-publica.com) and via the Info Point.
Consumption and youth protection
We would like to remind all participants that they must refrain from consuming tobacco products (including cannabis) and alcohol in the vicinity of younger visitors. Should any obvious disruption occur, participants may be approached by security staff and asked to move elsewhere to consume these substances.
Code of Conduct
Since 2007, re:publica has stood for diversity in an open society – in its programme, on all communication channels and, of course, at its events.
