Maria Schreiber is a professor of Digital Media & Culture at the University of Klagenfurt. Previously, she was a substitute professor at ZeMKI and a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Communication Studies at the University of Salzburg. She received her PhD in Communication Studies from the University of Vienna in 2017. Her research focuses on visual practices and representations and their entanglement with platforms, digital cultures, and biographical and social transformations.
